I was born and educated in
Cambridge, Mass. October 20, 1945.
My Father returned from WWII and with my Mother raised six
children. I learned at an early age that education was very
important to my parents. They toiled so my sisters and I could
attend parochial school. St. Johns and North Cambridge Catholic
High School. After graduating high school, I attended Bentley
College nights, while working full-time days.

I was drafted in 1965 and
served in Vietnam all of 1968. Shortly
before leaving for Vietnam, I married my childhood girl friend,
Carol Curtin. We're still happily married after 37 years. We have
three children, Karen, Kim and Brian. All three graduated from
Tyngsboro Schools. Karen received her Masters Degree from
Bentley College, May 2000, fulfilling her father's dream! Kim is
pursuing her Masters Degree at Boston University and Brian is a
successful self-employed businessman.
We
moved to Tyngsboro in 1978 and love living here. The Town
has been a great community to raise our children and now our
grandchildren. It is my dream to keep Tyngsboro a vibrant, bed-
room community, with great schools, recreation and open space.
I have been a neighborhood activist with successful results, the
capping of the Charles George Landfill. Carol & I helped to raise
money, as well as in-kind services, to help build the present police
station. I served two years as a water commissioner and I'm the
town's Veteran's Agent for 21 years.
Presently, Chairman Board
of Selectmen.
I'm proud to introduce my
four grandchildren to you when you
visit my Tyngsboro's Future page.
